我的新年与八字渡过

牛年终于到了~
在此祝大家Happy 牛 Year!!!

一个多星期的假期，除了呆在hometown的家里，吃、喝、看TV/电影以外，也没什么拜年，更不用说和朋友聚会。不知怎么的，就是没那闲情，不想出外跑动。
或许是没有车子的关系，出外不方便，也不想劳烦别人吧。

这次的新年，我的消遣竟然是看书!!!很意外吧!
究竟是什么书让我可以那么入神，可以破例的让我能一口气地在一天内翻了将近大半本?

Call me 神婆 if you wish...
可是不知怎么的，在大众书局看到Joey Yap的书，
竟然很有兴趣。
(因为我逛书局通常只逛杂志部。)



本来先买《八字解码》，读了数页方知看的是同系列的第二本。
所以第二天赶快跑去买《八字命理》，先打好基础。

说真的，光看书真的不易明白。所牵涉的东西好多，要有分析的头脑，五行之间的关系尤其复杂。但我还看得蛮津津有味的。。。
先撇开相不相信这回事，里头的奥妙的确引人深思，也不得不敬佩以前的中国人可以发明八字以及和命运的联系。
就算你很相信，但另一项值得争议的是 ~ 你会不会选择去知道。
如果命生的不好呢??
虽然Joey Yap又解释说知道的好处是可以在对的时候做对的事情或不做不该做的事情，
但我还是很迟疑，怕接受不来，怕会胡思乱想。。。
若又撇开这不谈，我还对命理学相当有兴趣哦!!

My First Designing Pot

Finally ~ bought my first Lucido-L designing pot #Nuance More (20g trial pack) at RM6.90 in Watson's.

I prefer hair wax that is soft in texutre and so I chose this over others. Moreover, it has got fibers!

Hahaha~~this small lil' tub is so cute and it comes in handy. I love the design of this pot sooOOoo much!! The wax is lightly fragranced and it makes your hair smell good.

The setting power is definitely better than the previous series.... however, it's quite sticky and I try not to use too much. Anyway, I'm not good in using hair wax.

Overall, I will give it a thumbs up and will definitely try another pot from the range...

没有如果 = 永远在身边

自从上一次大嘴巴翻唱了青山黛玛的成名曲《永远在身边》以后，
昨晚又听到电台首播梁静茹的翻唱《没有如果》。

说真的，虽然不喜欢翻唱，但梁静茹的《没有如果》将原曲稍作改变，
反而变得更轻松，再加上梁静茹的诠释，我还蛮喜欢她的version的说。。
反而大嘴巴的version比较接近原唱，所以和青山黛玛比较就显得逊色好多，
尤其不太能接受爱纱那太娇、太可爱的唱腔。而且歌词好像小朋友唱的歌。

大嘴巴的所属公司说梁静茹抢歌，我想也只不过是因为妒嫉大嘴巴唱得不够后者好。
后者已澄清买了版权，我相信也没有人敢冒着被起诉的险而大胆抄袭吧。。。

What's New

Congratulations to Mandom!!!

Mandom Malaysia has just launched their new Lucido-L haircare/hair styling line of products locally. I knew about this new lineup months before... before I left the company. I have seen the design, which I thought was much better than before and which had this sophisticated look. I knew that the new spokesperson would be Kimura Kaela. And now that the products are finally out in the market, although I was not involved, I did share their excitements and happiness! Really!!

I had also tested some of the products from the new lineup. Obviously they have done some improvements and the texture is better, more user-friendly, smells better and able to fix style much better than the old series. It's called designing pot because the latest hair trend in Japan is creating your own desired hair style instead of following the celebrities or the latest trend.

Selling at RM18.90 per pot, they are available at Guardian and Watson's.

I will definitely give it a try but I have yet to decide which one to start from. Since there is a wide range and we are spoilt with choice! I will try and see if it's better than Liese from Kao, also another product from Japan.

回顾2008 ~ 不堪回首??
其实也没有很糟，只是做很多事情都不顺心，不如意。。。
也是比较劳碌、忧郁、沮丧和爱哭的一年 。・ﾟﾟ･(≧д≦)･ﾟﾟ･｡
吃力不讨好的一年~
我也只好认命了。。。还是我太过superstitious?!

回顾2008 ~ 好像一事无成??

新的一年，不想抱太多希望，
也不想设下不切实际或难办到的resolution。
想换个心情，甚至想有新的尝试。
例如：
1。新发型
2。新的工作尝试/责任
3。甚至新的工作环境?
4。学习新的事物
5。strive for higher pay (at least at market's standard)

总之，我盼望充实的2009，顺心的2009~~

还有，农历2009到来之前，有点superstitious的我要赶快在家“摆阵”，希望好的风水会挡灾和带来好运哦!

2008年的圣诞节快到了~
并没有特别庆祝，也没有交换礼物或什么的。。。
除了圣诞，冬至也快来了，而且会先到。
那么~就祝冬至+圣诞节快乐吧!!!

这也意味着2009年快降临了。
希望不好的会过去，新的一年会比较快乐、满足。

最近都没有听到好听的Christmas song。。。

可是看了MV，却像是伤感的情歌一首呢!

This may probably be my first and last designer's bag though...

I would love to have LV but too many people are carrying designer's bags these days,
especially in big cities like KL.
I can see many LV, Coach, Gucci on the streets, everywhere....
I can't even tell fakes from those genuine.
Nevertheless, it's good to "invest" in one or two good quality bags though.

I find it hard to get a nice n' elegant bag which I can carry around and use for years.
Many get spoilt/torn too easily.
So far, I've got one bag from Charles & Keith which I've used for months now and I find it formal, chic, durable and most importantly, at an affordable price.

A bit sad that this pair is slightly larger than my size and I have to use insoles and paddings to fill in the extra "space"...

C&K is brand from Singapore, just like Vincci in Malaysia.
However, their products are of much better quality and the designs are more classy.
They have one outlet in Pavilion KL but I have yet to pay a visit.
The prices in Pavilion might be higher compared to Changi airport's.
You may find good bargain during S'pore sales though...

久违了~

没想到这次的首波主打《最后只好躺下来》MV这么搞笑

睽违两年，终于发专辑的黄立行~有点想念哦♥♡
他的歌向来很冷门
都是听了两、三次就被我雪藏起来。。
试听了4首歌，觉得风格稍有转变，
好像比较能够接受了，
尤其《黑夜尽头》这首歌，有点诡异但却好听。
原來是黃立行词曲。

或许是新加入了华纳的关系吧!!

喜欢黄立行的朋友绝对要多支持他这位“冷门”歌手!

随便写写: Anlene & Kiehl's

The Anlene booth attracted my attention when I was helping out at International Health Fair Exhibition at PWTC last weekend...

I was there for 2 days and on the second day, due to "encouragement" from friend (or else I hardly buy any healthfood for myself other than for beauty's purpose), I went to Anlene booth and discovered this new pack of Anlene concentrate which claimed to have 4x the calcium of regular milk. They sell in a pack of 4 for RM6. I don't know the selling price outside. But I decided to give it a try and buy 3x4's + 1 free umbrella which totalled to RM18.

My colleague saw me carrying this jokingly remarked to me that I was influenced by Michelle Yeoh. In fact, I didn't realise that Michelle Yeoh was actually promoting this new release on the Anlene TV commercial until I went home on that day and watch the TVC more carefully. I thought it was just an ordinary commercial from Anlene using Michelle Yeoh as their new spokeperson. (so, now you know you can't rely on just 1 advertising mode but a good mix of marketing tools in order to successfully market/launch a product.)



This small packet of vanilla-flavoured, low fat UHT, hi-cal milk is only 125ml in volume, which is smaller than other ordinary packet drinks. It tastes good especially when chill. This small serving is, in fact, a brilliant idea, as the good taste makes you can't stop sipping and without you realising it, it is finished within seconds.... and you are just about to relish the fullest taste in your mouth.... It doesn't make you feel full as a normal creamy milk will. It makes you yearn for more. And I look forward to the next day when I can have my next packet of Anlene concentrate! This small packet is also perfect for people on the go.

Went for shopping one day and spotted Kiehl's second outlet in M'sia that was already opened in One Utama, new wing.
An American cosmetic retailer, Kiehl's has more than 150 years of history but was only brought into M'sia market last year, thanks to Loreal. Its first outlet is in Pavilion, KL.

Do be forewarned that thier products are rather expensive but not that high-end though.
The beauty consultant was rather friendly and kind enough to give me a 5ml sample - Pineapple Papaya Facial Scrub - to try even though I didn't buy anything from her.

This facial scrub is moisturising but the beads are rather course and if you scrub for too long, the skin will become quite dry. My skin did appear brighter after scrubbing. However, I still find the brand I am currently using (RoC) better as it's more gentle to the face (and cheaper).

星期六的大清晨~
才刚要出门，
我的车却被飞来横祸不堪一击。。。碎了 。・ﾟﾟ･(≧д≦)･ﾟﾟ･｡

在路旁割草的印裔工友一不小心，
把路上的一块石子飞弹到我后座的车镜，
结果就酱子 ~ 整片裂了

前阵子才刚把车修好，

现在又要送入厂。

我看我的保险公司都要喊救命哟~

希望恶运就到此为止。

省钱经

我并不吝啬，虽然也不是名牌拥戴者，但好像积储永远都那么少，
好失败哦。。。。・ﾟﾟ･(≧д≦)･ﾟﾟ･｡
可能大都花在穿的和护肤产品吧!

因为我喜欢打扮自己，所以很舍得买漂亮的衣服穿，
买counter品牌的skincare。。
因为我坚信一分钱一分货。

我试过买比较便宜的衣服穿，却穿了两下子就破了，
好气!!!
但我也买过百多块一双鞋子来穿，却穿了约半年后，
因为过时而没多望几眼，好后悔~
所以发誓以后决不买贵的鞋子穿!

虽然如此，但我好讨厌被钱束缚着，
不能买自己喜欢的东西，好可怜哦!!
但也不要误会我是月光族。
那是绝对不可能的!
我才不会入不敷出那么crazy。
我驾的车可是kelisa而已呢!!

直到最近 ~ 跟一位朋友交谈、分享以后，
才发现"fail to plan”是那么地“恐怖”。
我这位女性朋友没有下一代，三十多岁，
一位银行branch manager兼保险MDRT，
可想而知月薪不错，却一星期工作七天，
身上穿的都却是rm20+的衣服，而且引以为傲!!!
我相信我没本事好像她那样。。。
也很佩服她。
或许我就是永远不会发达。

不过 ~ 自此以后，
我开始衡量自己的spending habit。
虽然要改不是一朝一夕的事，
但会逐渐cut down，
可能会变成“算死草”也说不定。

庆信自己不曾买过名牌，
因为怕有了第一次，就会有无数次。。。
也幸好身边的朋友也不是爱花钱的人。

至于爱买漂亮衣服的这种习惯呢。。
由于衣服容易过时，
所以我也会尽量买布质剪裁好的，价格又大众化的。
因为我有个旧同事好厉害，
穿的衣服不只漂亮，价格也看不出来这么便宜，
但她的秘诀是常常“血拼”，看到便宜又漂亮的就买。
我可要向她看齐。

Skincare产品我还是会选用适合我皮肤的，
不然导致过敏发而更浪费钱。
不过，无关痛痒的如cleanser之类的，我会试用mass market产品。
相信这是好的开始吧。

Fighto uUshuuss!!!

BRTC BB 试用分享

之前介绍过BB cream和用处。
也谈到过很多使用者都认为BRTC最好用。



结果~
好不容易给我找到了。。。
这是我通过网站购买的BRTC BB Cream试用样品。
其实是一位Johor的女子通过自己的部落格卖的。
相信她是去台湾或托人在台湾购入。



里面有4小包sachets，共RM25:
1. BB美白修饰乳
2. BB控油修饰乳
3. BB防晒修饰乳
4. 珠光BB修饰乳

一小包大概可以用2、3次。
至今我只用过美白和珠光。
试用结果嘛。。。
味道蛮香，还不错，比skinfood来得好闻。
coverage也算好，自然。
唯一的缺点（也是致命伤）就是，
用了的第2、3天就会发现脸部显得有些粗躁。
那是敏感的现象，或代表不适合我的肌肤。
因为我年纪越大，皮肤越容易过敏。
所以里头成分一有不对就得停止使用。

起初不信邪，
后来用了不同的两包产品还是有轻微过敏现象，
就不得不信了。

还好买的是试用装，
不然BRTC这个牌子并不便宜哦!
不过暂时在大马找不到。

乐评~又是失败的翻唱

~又是一个失败翻唱曲的例子~

Janice卫兰一出道就翻唱黎明的歌。
其实还好~
因为黎明不是实力派歌手，又是男生，
所以他的一些抒情歌由女生唱出还别有一番韵味。
而且Janice的声线绝对有资格当实力歌手。
所以不需要借翻唱来提高销量。
更何况这首歌之前已被Saya翻場過，反应并没有很热烈，
个人认为是失败的翻唱。。。(简直听了就反感!!!)

原因很简单~
Yuna Ito唱得太好了!!
也是Yuna Ito把这首歌唱红，才会有这些翻唱曲。

RM15k appears to be a lot of money... at least to me...
But it sounds too good to be true.

First of all,
why in heavan did Shell want to give me RM15k for nothing?
Even if it does, why through sms?
Why Shell drew for winner through sim card number?
Shouldn't they look at those who use their petrol?

Never mind.... I'm not interested to know further...

不良笑花与Clarins

最近在线上追看台湾最新偶像剧 ~ 不良笑花
由著名制作人柴智屏制作的偶像剧通常都有不错的口碑。
现在只播到第7集，但收视率好像是第一。

由杨丞琳主演的蒋小花是一位几乎把所有颜色都穿在身上的“俗”女，
而且口音很“台”，品味超低。
所以最初很多人（连自己）都不能接受这个角色。
但看了几集以后，发现她的可爱之处。
最吸引之处是剧情夸张得来也很搞笑，女主角不小心脱口而出的~
却不经意让人捧腹大笑。

投入剧情的同时，我也发觉到Clarins产品不时出现在镜头内。。。
这就是所谓的“置入性行销”(placement marketing)。
女主角在一间国际skincare公司上班。
看了7集，都没有提到公司的名字，也没有Clarins的字眼，
可是戏里却频频出现Clarins的产品，甚至是Clarins模特的海报等。。
杨丞琳是Clarins代言人，顺理成章品牌也出现在戏里，
个人认为品牌宣传达到双倍效果。

也或许我本身是Clarins使用者，所以有注意到。
可是我很欣赏他们并没太刻意地在宣传。
只是不经意的把产品摄入镜头内。

就拿最近在电视刚播完的本地剧来说 ~ 还我情真，
不懂有没有注意到Super也是以同样方法，
不时在戏里出现。
不过镜头有时会太过focus在品牌上，
甚至有几十秒种瞄准主角冲着Super饮料的情形，
有点太明显了。

Placement marketing其实很常见，
如果你有注意的话。。。

说回不良笑花。。由杨丞琳唱出的片尾曲《带我走》还蛮好听的。如没错，是苏打绿词曲。

周末厨艺秀一秀

心血来潮 ~ 一个周末的晚上，就约了blueyebabe到我家聚餐~~
嘿嘿! 一来是因为不怎么会下厨。。。
再来是想顺便试一试blueyebabe的厨艺。

旧曲重温 ~ 《雪の華》这首歌中岛美嘉唱得很红，也有韩文版的。。
找到了Mika，DAI的Tomiko Van（也是我满欣赏的女歌手）和Sato Chikuzen合唱的version~
听过了就知道不易唱，尤其是飙高音的部分，唯独mika演绎得最棒!!



想不到竟然came across周董在2008东京演唱会上也唱了这首歌。
如果don't mind background那班女子的noises，周董也演绎得不错哟!!

前阵子蛮喜欢的日文曲 ~ 《そばにいるね》by 青山テルマ featuring SoulJa，想不到大嘴巴拿来翻唱。怎么说都是原唱的好听。

云顶无聊一遊

Raya假日~ 因无聊又忽然兴致而相约到云顶“逛一逛”。。。

到了半山便挤进长龙等cable car。
结果足足等了半个小时有多吧!
也没有真正去看时间 ~ 只是无聊地边等边玩着手机里的游戏。

假日人也特别多~
好不容易等了老半天才等到我们的份。。。
有些人却“争先恐后”，而我也忍不住脱口而出，“等咗咁耐，唔争在啦!”
难得来玩又不是赶时间，何必你推我挤的。。


坐过几次cable car，这次是最恐怖的一次。
也不知道是不是受妹妹影响，变得很怕~~ (>_<。)
还是对马来西亚的技术没信心?!

妹妹觉得这些cupcakes很漂亮，要求拍下来。

到了云顶，只是漫无目的的到处走走。
人群太多，太拥挤，心情也变得烦躁 ~ 那里也不想去。
结果的结果 ~ 只是在food court吃了午餐，再到starbucks喝杯咖啡聊聊天，
便草草结束无聊的半日遊。

What a Misfortune!

19.9.08 marked my greatest misfortune of the year (let's hope that the worst has gone)...

At 6pm plus, on my way to meet up my bf for dinner,
I was going to make a U-turn towards Uptown, and...
the moment I made a break in front of a traffic light, came behind me a Nissan X-Trail which lost control and bumped into my car...
Since mine is just a Kelisa, the great impact had caused my car to move forward and hit the car in front (a MyVi).
Imagine me screaming twice because of the 2 collisions!
Needless to say, my car suffered the most damage, on both the head and tail...

Obviously, the Nissan driver must be dreaming since she told me she couldn't remember how it happened.

I felt a slight pain at the back of my head immediately after the accident.
Luckily, I'm feeling better now...

The Nissan owner is a Malaysian celebrity. I can recognize her immediately. I don't want to name her here since she has been rather nice to me except for naming my car wrongly as "Kancil". And she doesn't want to be responsible for damages to the front part of my car as well as to the MyVi.

I really couldn't believe how unlucky I could be...
I mean I have had accidents before but not to this extent...
Can you imagine how upset I am and all the troubles I have to go through?
It's not merely loss of money but the time taken to make police report, to send my cars to workshop and having to trouble somebody to send me to work...

I thought it was my good month...
and immediately after reaching home I took out my Lilian Too's fengshui book to counter-check...
Ya, it was indeed my unlucky month...
I could have been more careful...

The weirdest thing ever ~ all 3 car numbers ended with the numer 6...

最贵的晚餐

和一班同事替另一位同事farewell~
在Cheras PGRM附近的地贸馆预订了2桌，
连菜也是特别预订的，平时要即席叫是没有的。

叫了5样菜，不但菜式特别，味道顶呱呱，分量也特别大。
结果~平均一个人得付RM100!!!

为什么会那么贵呢?!

我还是生平第一次吃那么大碟的鱼翅!
吃完了这第一道菜后，我已经8分饱了~~ orz

感觉自己好像很豪气哦!

先声明：答应赴约前我并不知道他们叫什么样的菜，也绝对不知道会那么贵。
不过，吃过以后，觉得还蛮值得的。只是不要常常酱子吃就行了。。。

三度香港之旅

29.8.08的清晨 ~ 独自一人来到LCCT，
准备乘搭前往香港的飞机。。。
这已是我第三次访香港了。
再上一次应该是5、6年前的事了。。。

故地重游 ~ 心情依然兴奋
因为这还是我首次亲自策划行程，
还蛮过瘾的~
也很期待。。。

香港地方小、人多是众所周知
所以房间也特别小。。。


这是twin sharing bed哩!!!
两个人睡的话要尽量避免翻身。


厕所和走廊 ~ 空间都很狭窄。。。
据说，我们住的Newton Kowloon Hotel已是三星级旅馆中算是蛮大的咯。

这次的香港游除了半天被迫跟团到一些tourist spots (半山，香港仔，浅水湾)以外，
其他自助旅游景点还包括旺角的花园街、通菜街、朗豪坊，尖沙咀的弥敦道、海港城、美丽华商场、星光大道，还有被列入《吉尼斯世界纪录》为最大型灯光音乐汇演的『幻彩咏香江』，铜锣湾的Times Square等地。。。原本打算到南丫岛半日游，但因为天气太热而打消念头。

这次的旅程 ~ 很累（走到脚快要断了），但很充实、快乐。。。

朗豪坊的特点之一是由1楼连接4楼，4楼至8楼的通天梯。
第一次乘搭这么长的电梯呢! 很特别~
而且里面有很多个性服装店，只是时间和体力有限关系，没有逛。


朗豪坊的12楼有现场歌唱表演。图中歌手正演唱着周杰伦的《蒲公英的约定》。
另外，从8楼至13楼设有12星座馆，概念新鲜、特别。
我们还到了香港著名的『满记甜品』品尝美味的榴莲绿茶雪糕甜品!!!

说到吃，除了tour guide带我们到一家点心餐馆，味道还不比怡保的富山好吃以外，
其他的我们都是靠感觉，肚子饿了就走进附近的普通餐馆。
价钱不太贵，却差不多每样我们点的都很好吃，是我这次旅行最满意的地方!

我吃过了道地的烧鹅饭，公仔面，客家盐锔鸡饭，『人和豆品厂』的炸豆腐等，还尝过了鸳鸯，冻奶茶，冻柠乐，冻柠蜜等，味道一级棒!!!

目中无人的在铜锣湾街头放肆地吃起『泰昌饼家』的蛋挞


当然还不忘了到我喜爱的Starbucks喝“下午茶”。

香港服务员的态度虽然比以前好很多，
但还是不太让人满意。
那种傲气依然还在。。。

至于在街头看到的男男女女，
surprisingly，没有以前打扮得那么时尚好看，
反而比较朴素、随便~


香港真的是一个购物好地方。
爱挑的我虽买不多，但也很心满意足。
这是我购入的唯一一件首饰，价值RM34.60。


离港前留下的倩影。。
没有遗憾，遗憾的是有很多地方来不及去，
很多好东西来不及买。。。
